Demi Lovato To Replace Ariana Grande For The Upcoming MLB All-Star Game Concert

In this year's MLB All-Star Game concert which will be held in Cincinnati, Demi Lovato has officially taken the place of "Break Free" singer Ariana Grande as the newest headliner of the show, according to reports.

"I'm so excited to be headlining the MLB All-Star Concert," Lovato said in her statement. "I hope my fans in Cincinnati are ready to get 'Cool for the Summer!'

Tony Petiti, COO of the Major League Baseball, said that Demi Lovato, who's being perceived as one of this generation's best young artists, will surely give the fans a fantastic experience.

"Demi Lovato is one of today's best young artists and we know she will provide fans with a fantastic experience they won't soon forget," said Petiti. "We're disappointed that Ariana Grande cannot partake in the All-Star festivities, but wish her a speedy recovery."

Pop singer Ariana Grande was first announced as the headliner of the game concert on Monday, July 6. However, she has been replaced by Demi Lovato during the midweek, before hitting the concert on Saturday, July 11.

Though the exact reasons behind Grande being replaced for the upcoming game concert are still unknown, people believe it is due to her most recent issue, where Grande was caught in a doughnut shop making a nasty scene with her rumored new love interest Ricky Alvarez.

She was seen licking donuts and publicly saying she hates the country and its citizens. "What the f--k is this? I hate Americans. I hate America.", she said.

Aside from Lovato, the All-Star Game Concert will also feature the popular rock band "Rixton", known for their latest hit track "Me and My Broken Heart".

The 22-year old pop star has been very busy this summer, after promoting her new track "Cool for the Summer," which she just recently launched in New York for the first time.

Lovato also debuted her new jam in Los Angeles on Sunday, where she performed for a pool party event and apparently obtained a nasty fall on stage while performing.

The MLB All-Star game concert will take place at the Paul Brown Stadium, in Cincinnati as part of the MLB All-Star Game festivities. The 86th annual MLB All-Star game will air on Fox this coming July 14, Tuesday.
