It’s been two years since Paula was kicked off the Food Network for using racial slurs, but the scandal still surrounds the celebrity chef. People were outraged after Paula posted a picture that showed her standing next to her son, Bobby Deen and had him dress up in brownface.
On Tuesday, Paula tweeted a picture of herself and her son dressed as Lucy and Ricky Ricardo, the eccentric 1950's comedy couple from 'I Love Lucy.'
“Lucyyyyyyy! You got a lot of esplainin’ to do! #TransformationTuesday,” Paula captioned the photo, tagging Bobby’s twitter account.

It would have been an amusing homage except that Bobby's face was painted brown, apparently to make him look more Cuban, as was Lucille Ball's then-husband and co-star, Desi Arnaz.
Now, Paula clearly has some explaining to do, as to why she thought it was okay to share this photo with her 1.38 million followers.
Although the photo was posted on Tuesday, it appears to be from Paula’s 2011 Halloween special. Shortly after the tweet was deleted, E! News reported that the chef had fired her social media manager.
"Paula immediately had this picture taken down as soon as she saw the post and apologizes to all who were offended," her rep explained. "As such, Paula Deen Ventures has terminated their relationship with this Social Media Manager."

The Food Network infamously fired Paula after she admitted to using a deragatory racial remarks towards African American.
Paula admitted she used the N-word at times, and this caused Food Network to not renew her contract.
Deen's empire of restaurants, cookbooks and kitchenware, strategic business partnerships, endorsement deals and TV cooking shows then began to crumble.
She apologized repeatedly, she cried, she begged for forgiveness, she tried to repair the damage in interviews.
Since then the chef’s attempts to rebuild her reputation included the release of a documentary telling her side of the story.
