Are Katy Perry and John Mayer giving romance another shot? TMZ posted an exclusive image of the pop superstar and her seven time Grammy Award winning former flame getting cozy at a Grateful Dead concert during the Fourth of July festivities.
Perry and Mayer have been in an on and off romance since 2012. However in March, The inquisitr broke the news that the pair decided to bring their 'Hot N Cold' relationship to an end. Sources close to the couple say that the split was the result of "lack of emotional interest on his end." Saying that "John fell out of love with Perry but will always love her."
However this latest development shows that fireworks (no pun intended) may be in the air again for the two.
E! Online has a detailed timeline of the couple's rocky affair. Katy's relationship with John began shortly after her split from British comedian Russell Brand was made official in late 2012. In February 2013, engagement rumours filled the tabloids as Perry was spotted wearing a heart shaped ring in public. However these proved to be false as the pair split for the first time about a month later.
Since then the two have been up and down, getting back together and breaking up an additional two times. Will the third time be the charm? We'll have to wait and see.
It's been a good year for Perry both on and off the stage. Aside from her internet conquering Super Bowl performance earlier this year, The 30 year old singer recently graced the cover of Forbes Magazine after being named the highest paid female celebrity in 2015. She earned a staggering $135 million this year thanks to the runaway success of her 'Prismatic' World Tour which covered 124 shows in 28 countries. Overall Perry was the third highest earning celeb in 2015, only being beaten out by boxing superstars Floyd Mayweather Jr. (No.1) and Manny Pacquiao (No. 2) respectively.
