Newly cast Spider-Man is 19-year-old English actor Tom Holland, He maybe under a lot of pressure in soliciting applause from the million fans of the Spider-Man films. He's all good though because the Marvel family got Tom Holland's back to support him.
The cast of Ant-Man in a recent interview with IGN, via Comic Book Movie, gave Holland great advice on how to be successful as the webbed wonder.
The Ant-Man's cast headed by Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, and Evangeline Lilly welcomed Tom Holland to be a part of the Marvel universe.
"The one person I did talk to before I started shooting this was Chris Pratt," Rudd explained who he seeked out for advice when joining Marvel. "Pratt said, 'It's amazing and go with it. They, Marvel, love to take chances. Creatively they take chances. They know what they are doing and just get ready for a ride because, it's a ride!' He had just finished it (Guardians of the Galaxy). And the other thing he said, 'The nuttiest part is when you see the movie you're really gonna get to see what it looks like.' Because when you're shooting it I didn't know what it will look like. So, that aspect is really cool."
Michael Peña as Luis in Ant-Man said that Holland can be as good as Tobey Maguire, who did an absolutely fantastic job in just being a regular guy and not being a movie icon.
Michael Douglas known as the film's original Ant-Man, said that Holland is with a good team to support him, and Douglas also said that Holland just has to "Enjoy the ride!
Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne of Ant-Man gave the most practical advice, Lilly said, "If he's never been to (San Diego) Comic-Con, put on a costume and go in and cruise around because... these are going to be your big fans."
Evangeline Lilly knows more about what to expect, as she starred in Comic-Con favorites, "Lost" and the Hobbit film series.
