There's a wider range of possibilities now for Marvel Studio's first ever female-led franchise, "Agent Carter." For its second season, the series will be taking place on the West Coast.
Executive producer Michele Fazekas told Entertainment Weekly in an interview that the upcoming season would drastically change the aesthetics of the show, given that Los Angeles carries a totally different vibe from New York City.

"In Los Angeles, you have the spectacular wealth, glamour and beauty right next to the grit and crime - often right up against each other. We're very much being inspired by Noir films," noted Fazekas.
"Theres a case that goes beyond what the LAPD or normal police would be able to handle that falls into their purview," said Fazekas. In fact, Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) will be handling that case.

Not to worry though, as Fazekas also talked about what's in store for Jarvis, played by James D'Arcy. "We have a nice organic way to infuse Jarvis. That was always the challenge. He's not an agent," Michele cited.
"The case for the first season is over, so the biggest question for us this season was: We love Peggy and Jarvis together, that's a really important relationship, how do we keep them together? LA has provided us a really nice, organic way to do so," Fazekas added.

But Jarvis won't be keeping eyes on Peggy for Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper) in this season. "She's not working for Howard in this regard," Fazekas says while clearly noting that Peggy was able to prove herself and gain the respect of colleagues after the first season.
"The nice thing about Peggy this season is she's not having to hide her agenda from the SSR. [Jarvis] is helping her out, just in a different way." Michele continued. It's also probably important to note that Jarvis hates California, including LA.

Expect to see Agent Sousa (Enver Gjokaj) and Agent Jack Thompson this coming season. EW reports that sources allege that deals are in the works for the participation of other cast members such as Chad Michael Murray, Lyndsy Fonseca and Bridget Regan.
The first poster for season two was released just today. The vintage cartoon vibe shows Jarvis standing behind Peggy against a backdrop of numerous landmarks Los Angeles is famous for.
