Silicon Valley Season 3 Spoilers- Is Richard Coming Back After Being Fired As CEO?

HBO's "Silicon Valley" ended their second season with a major cliff hanger by having Richard's (Thomas Middleditch) character being fired as Pied Piper's CEO. Now fans are wondering, is that even possible that you get fired from your own company that you built? The answer to that would be addressed on the show's third season.

The good news is that the show is coming back with a new twist. For those of who you have not seen the finale of season 2, you're in for a spoiler alert so brace yourselves as we give you the details. Basically, Richard went into a whole lot of drama just to save the company from the lawsuit that Gavin Belson (played by Matt Ross) filed against them, which is totally non-sense according to the story. Belson just wants Pied Piper to be in his hands and that's why he found every angle to take it away from its original owner.

Richard on the other hand was torn between lying to get out of the lawsuit or telling the truth, but risk it by committing perjury. He then in end showed his integrity and told the truth on the stand. Everybody was thinking he was going to lose it but for some miraculous turn out, the judge decided that he could keep his company and Belson's claim became null and void. Well that escalated quickly!

We thought it was about to have a happy ending until he got a phone call saying he is being fired as his own company's CEO. According to an interview done by Entertainment Weekly with Mike Judge, the new season will be showing a lot of real life events in the tech world. Apparently, Raviga who also invests on Pied Piper has the right to acquire whoever they want to employ as CEO for Pied Piper. It looks like it's going to be an interesting new season indeed.
