Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner: Trying to Save Marriage

On June 29, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner will be celebrating their 10th anniversary. However, Hollywood insiders report that their marriage for a decade is currently on the rocks.

In US Magazine's latest issue, sources revealed that the couple is doing what they can to save their marriage.

US added that Ben and Jen have been undergoing therapy for years and have already spent times apart. This rocky relationship was prompted by the "Gone Girl" actor's "workaholic" ways and "many vices."

"All marriages, all relationships to a certain extent, require your work," Affleck said at an interview. "Nobody's perfect. I would be lying to you if I said that either she or I were."

Hollywood Life reported that the parents of 9-year-old Violet, 6-year-old Seraphina, and 3-year-old Samuel are trying hard to stay together for the sake of the kids.

"That is the priority! And when certain holidays and birthdays come about they think about their relationship with more urgency and with Father's Day right around the corner, Jen sees the man that Ben is, the father that he has become and that outweighs the nonsense," an insider told Hollywood Life. "They are not out of the woods yet but they are definitely trying hard to mend fences."

The Hollywood couple began dating in 2004, when they starred together in Daredevil. "We met on 'Pearl Harbor'," Affleck said in his Playboy interview in 2013. "But we fell in love on 'Daredevil'."

Garner previously shared that her husband swept her off her feet through sending her romantic emails. "He's a very persuasive writer," said the actress in her interview with Parade Magazine in 2010.

The Oscar-winner proposed to his then-pregnant girlfriend during her 33rd birthday in the spring of 2005. The couple then tied the knot in a private summer wedding ceremony at the Caribbean, officiated by the bride's Alias co-star, Victor Garber.
