Apple Watch 2 Allows Users To Make FaceTime Video Calls

Tech giant Apple is planning to release a full next-generation Apple Watch which includes FaceTime video camera. The new version, which is expected to be released in 2016, is believed to be iPhone independent and will have a better battery performance.

The rumors of the Apple Watch 2 have begun to spur just two months after the initial launch of its predecessor. If proven to be true, this goes with the tech company's tradition of releasing the upgraded versions of their products about a year after the first product line.

During the Worldwide Developers Conference which occurred earlier this month, the tech company already revealed their interest in developing Apple Watch FaceTime feature. The brand-new app allows users to answer FaceTime Audio calls from the Apple Watch. FaceTime video calls can also be routed to any iPhone device to be answered on or rejected.

Apple is believed to be looking at current factors to consider integrating a video camera right into the top bezel of the Apple Watch 2. This new feature will make it possible for individuals to make and receive FaceTime calls anytime and anywhere.

The company aims to enhance the current condition of the smart watch by making it more functional even when used independently from an iPhone. This could improve the emailing, text messaging, and receiving updated weather data of the watch.

Apple is also working on boosting the battery performance of the device. Both the company and the users were uneasy about the watch's real battery life. Since the release, the company believes that the most of the users are fine with charging their gear every night.

The developers will change its hardware and improve the average 30% to 40% power remaining at the end of the day.

Besides boosting the smartwatch's performance, Apple is also planning to use new materials and bands for the product's exterior. Materials like titanium, tungsten, palladium, platinum and gold will possibly be used.
