On Wednesday evening, a horrible shooting occurred at Charleston's Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church. We mourn the death of the nine individuals that passed away at the scene of the crime.
The suspect, Dylann Roof, was finally arrested in Shelby, North Carolina, via CNN.
As the whole country (and the rest of the world) still grieves for the lives lost at the Charleston Shooting, musicians, comedians and other celebrities take time to pay respects and share their thoughts on the tragic occurrence on social media.
John Legend was heartbroken upon hearing the news. "Charleston. My heart hurts," he wrote. Amy Poehler tweeted, "To keep the focus where it needs to be," and accompanied it with a photo.

Taylor Swift tweeted on Thursday, "Plane landed, turned on my phone, and my heart dropped to the floor. Charleston... This is an unbearable loss of lives and innocence."
Beyonce's sister, Solange Knowles couldn't even fit her sentiments in one tweet. Her first post read, "Was already weary. Was already heavy hearted. Was already tired. Where can we be safe? Where can we be free? Where can we be black?"
She then followed up with another message saying, "My heart is truly with you to the folks who lost loved ones Charleston. My heart is truly with you, world."
Some were probably at a loss for words and turned to prayer. Singer Ne-Yo tweeted, "#PrayForCharleston." On the other hand, Kerry Washington wrote, "Prayers for #Charleston."

"Glee" star Darren Criss wrote a heartfelt message. "My heart is so broken by the senselessness of the Charleston shooting. Sending thoughts & prayers. Hatred cannot and will not prevail," he penned.
Janet Jackson's sister, La Toya Jackson also had something to say. "Another Massacre! Another Tragedy! Another Hate Crime! My Thoughts & Prayers To The Families & Friends Affected By The #CharlestonShooting," her tweet read.
"I believe there's more love in the world than hate. We need to show it today. Sending my love to Charleston," said Ellen DeGeneres.
