Their divorce may not yet be official, but Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith have already sold their former family home in Hancock Park for a whopping $15.947 million.
It is reported to have broken records by being the most expensive sale ever for a single-family home in the neighborhood.
The previous record was a property sold for $11 million owned by film producer and son of Disney magnate Michael Eisner, Eric Eisner and Stacy Bendet, the designer of Alice + Olivia.
The ex-couple acquired the property designed by Hoover Dam architect Gordon B. Kaufman in 1925. They purchased the Italian Revival-style mansion in 1999 for $4.2 million.
The following year they also purchased the property next door for $1.3 million.
Listing details show that the double-gated mansion includes a grand entry, double-height banquet hall, formal dining room with coffered ceiling, paneled library and a two-story kitchen. The mansion’s seven bedrooms and seven full and three half bathrooms include a celebrity-style master suite with two bathrooms and double dressing rooms.
Additional features include a recording studio, fitness room, a guest/staff apartment, extensive security system and a swimming pool set privately in a central courtyard that fits perfectly in the 15,110-square feet home.
Banderas and Griffith wed in 1996 after meeting in 1995 on the set of 'Two Much.' They announced their split in June 2014 after 18 years of marriage.
"We have thoughtfully and consensually decided to finalize our almost twenty years marriage in a loving and friendly manner honoring and respecting each other, our family and friends and the beautiful time we have spent together," Griffith and Banderas said in a joint statement.
Despite the divorce proceedings, the proud parents unite to attend their daughter Stella's high school graduation.
Melanie took to her Instagram account to post a sweet photo of the three of them during the big occasion.
'Mama, Stella and Papi. Our angel is amazing. Beginning the next chapter of her life! Freedom!!' she captioned it.
