At a press conference on Tuesday, Donald Trump officially revealed that he would be running for the United States presidency in 2016.
"Quite simply, it is time to bring real leadership to Washington. The fact is, the American dream is dead - but if I win, I will bring it back bigger and better and stronger than ever before," "The Apprentice" host said.
He reiterated his campaign tagline during his speech, "Together we will make America great again!"

But true to his form, Trump didn't fail to mention and compare his opponents. "They don't even have a chance. They're controlled fully by the lobbyists, by the donors, and by the special interests - fully!"
The 69-year-old businessman then continued, "Our country needs a truly great leader and we need a truly great leader now. We need a leader that wrote 'The Art of the Deal.' We need a leader that can bring back our jobs."

Donald Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump, introduced her father and made sure to include Donald's business achievements. Ivanka spoke of her father saying, "I can tell you that there is no better person than my father to have in your corner when you are facing tough opponents or making hard decisions."
"He is battle-tested. He is a dreamer, but, as importantly, he is a doer," Ivanka added.
The Democratic National Committee also had something to say about Donald Trump. "Today, Donald Trump became the second major Republican candidate to announce for president in two days," DNC National Press Secretary Holly Shulman stated.
"He adds some much-needed seriousness that has previously been lacking from the GOP field, and we look forward hearing more about his ideas for the nation," Shulman added.
While Celebrity Net Worth states Donald Trump's net worth at $4.5 billion, his financial disclosure documents were made public upon his announcement. In those documents, it was stated that Trump's net worth is almost at $9 billion.
