Mothers really know best.
The world has been keeping an eye out for Kristen Stewart, who has been spotted numerous times being very close to her personal assistant Alicia Cargile. There have been speculations about the relationship between the two, but the 'Twilight' actress has neither confirmed nor denied the rumors.
The confirmation actually came from an unexpected source.
Kristen's mother Jules recently spoke to Mirror UK about meeting her daughter's new paramour and confirmed that the couple are quite happy.
"I've met Kristen's new girlfriend, I like her," Jules stated. "What's not to accept? She's a lovely girl."

The 55-year-old also indicated that she had no problem with the relationship. "What's not to be accepting about her now having a girlfriend?" she asked. "She's happy. "She's my daughter, I'm just her mom so she knows I would accept her choices."

Jules also discussed Kristen's failed relationship with 'Twilight' costar Robert Pattinson.
"I'm very sad that Kristen and Robert didn't have a chance to be alone together, they had to have the whole world with them and all the public stuff ruined everything, life became overwhelming."
Kristen's relationship with Robert allegedly fell apart after the actress was photographed kissing 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director Rupert Sanders. Since the fallout, Kristen has taken extra measures to keep her personal life private.
It appears that both parties have moved on since their breakup. Robert is currently engaged to FKA Twigs and has even considered invited Kristen to his wedding.
Kristen and Alicia have previously been photographed together in Hawaii, Los Angeles and at the recent Coachella Festival.
Shortly after the story hit the internet, Jules told New York Daily News that she never spoke about Kristen's relationship with Mirror UK. She claimed the discussion was about her film project and only confirmed that she has met Alicia Cargile.
