Apple releasing iPad Pro soon?

Tech Industry analysts are speculating that a pro version of Apple's popular iPad tablet may be in the works after company's recent showing at the Worldwide Developer's Conference in San Francisco. At the event, the tech giant debuted two technologies that many believe are a precursor to a work focused, possibly stylus aided version of the iPad. The first piece of tech is iOS 9's new predictive touch feature. The second is the long overdue side by side multitasking features coming soon in the same update.

Popular apple resource cultofmac says predictive touch may herald the coming of a long rumoured Apple stylus. The site says:

"Predictive touch technology is the key technology behind all styluses - both computer and iPad. Touchscreens and drawing tablets generally aren't accurate enough for precision work unless they have predictive touch technology. Predictive touch dramatically improves the speed and accuracy of a pen."

Apple also announced that drawing has been added to notes with iOS 9. The added emphasis on improving the drawing and scribbling capabilities of the new operating system may be another clue into the company's future plans.

The other smoking gun in Apple's iPad Pro rumours are the new multitasking features coming to iOS 9. TechCrunch believes that the new addition shows that Apple is hinting at what is to come:

"The changes reflect the best example of Apple's tendency to 'telegraph' future product announcements with changes to development tools and frameworks, however, laying the groundwork for the much-discussed larger iPad Pro supposedly coming later this year - and other devices not yet announced."

Many believe the new iPad will borrow heavily from Apple's recently revived Macbook. Key features like force touch, USB C connectivity, Apple Pay, and Apple Watch synergy are just some of the things that can be expected.
