The premiere of the third season of Netflix's flag show, the prison dramedy starring Taylor Schilling as Piper Chapman, is just around the corner, as it's set to launch next Friday, June 12 - and Laura Prepon from "Orange is the New Black" is right in the middle of her press tour for the premiere!
Although now fans can now see Laura Prepon in "Orange is the New Black," the 35 year-old actress has been in the spotlight since she was 18, when she was part of the cast of the long-running sitcom "That 70's Show," though her own life has been much more low key than that of co-stars Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher.
According to The Star, as fans expect the return of her character Alex Vause to the small screen, Laura Prepon's "Orange is the New Black" interviews have shed some light on what happens to Vause, who by the end of last season returned to Litchfield Prison when her on-again off-again girlfriend Piper told authorities she was hiding.
In a recent interview to The Hollywood Reporter about Laura Prepon's "Orange is the New Black," Prepon told the outlet that her character feels "stupid" over being back in Litchfield.
"She doesn't know how she got back in, she doesn't know that Piper is the reason for it, and I think she just feels foolish and stupid," she said, when asked about Laura Prepon's "Orange is the New Black" character. "Now that she had that freedom and it was taken away again, I think she just has lost faith in herself, has lost faith in her and Piper and is kind of a little hopeless."
The relationship between the two women is one of the pivotal points of the series, as it was Prepon's character who caused Schilling's to go to prison - and now, as they seemingly rekindle their relationship, the show's introduced a new character, played by Australian TV personality Ruby Rose, who'll turn things into a love triangle.
Starting next Friday and after a long year of waiting, fans can finally binge-watch Laura Prepon in "Orange is the New Black" once more!
