After her debut on the Vanity Fair cover, Caitlyn gained a lot of support from fans and co- star. His/ her second wife Linda even wrote an emotional essay which she posted on The Huffington Post to express her thoughts for the 65 year ex-husband. In Linda's essay she admitted that if she knew about Bruce's true identity, she wouldn't have married him.
The song- writer even wrote in her essay how she recalled Bruce as her husband. How she met him, their romantic trip, date of their marriage and about Bruce's winning a gold medal in the Olympic.
In the letter she also went back when the time Bruce came to her with a somber face.
