People are understandably curious about the new season of AMC's hit series 'The Walking Dead.' Fans just want to find out what will happen to Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the other residents of Alexandria. They also want to know if there will be new characters joining the cast.

The TWD Facebook fan page The Spoiling Dead Fans have just found new pictures on the set of the series and promptly posted it with several speculations. The grainy pictures show Michonne (Danai Gurira) with several crew members and a new costar. There is also a photo of the unidentified cast member, who is now rumored to be Heath.

Spoiling Dead Fans member Ninja Pancake posted the pictures, indicating that the "mystery friend has popped up again" in the Chestlehurst/Crook Road location.
"In the picture on the left he is the one next to Michonne. The picture on the right was taken during the first day of filming at the car lot in Manchester. Definitely seems to be the same guy.
It's safe to say that he is a new character. Now the question becomes, "Who is he?"
Could this be our Heath?"
Heath is one of the characters that appear in The Walking Dead comic book series. He is described as a young African American man who becomes friends with Glenn (played by Steven Yeung in the series). He eventually becomes a useful member of Rick's group.
Heath's appearance on the series is considered as a hint that Negan, who is one of the main antagonists in the comic book, will finally be featured in the new season.
AMC had no comment on the character's identity.
In the series, the katana-wielding Michonne initially appeared as Andrea's savior in the Season Two finale. The character eventually has a larger role in the following seasons. In the Season Five finale, she is seen contemplating putting her katana away before changing her mind.
'The Walking Dead' Season Six is currently filming and will start airing on AMC by October 2015.
