US singer/songwriter Jason Derulo's new single "Want To Want Me" made it to the number 1 spot in the hit charts specifically in the UK. The hit made more than 127,000 for his sales just this week alone, beating last week's number 1, Cheerleader by OMI. This is his fourth time to hit number1 and according to The Independent; Derulo said, "it never gets old."
The singer told Official Charts that he has worked hard on the making of his album for 8 months and to see it blow up into a success is definitely a blessing. He is mostly grateful for his fans for their continued support and for giving him this kind of opportunity in the industry.
Bucks Free Press reported the other tracks and artists that also made the chart. The third spot goes to the collaboration released by Diplo, Skriller and Justin Bieber called "Where Are U Now". Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" featuring Kendrick is now on number five and the fourth place goes to the song "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth. Climbing up the second spot is the song "English Graffiti" by The Vaccines. The biggest leap from all the songs that made it to this week's UK hit chart is Fleetwood Mac's The Very Best Of, which now lands to number 17 from 68.
The EDM (Electronic Dance Music) world is also very much alive on the chart that DJ Martin Garrix making it to the 9th spot with his new material "Don't Look Down" featuring Usher. Mans Zelmerlow who won this year's Eurovision Song Contest is now visible making hits with the song "Heroes" that made it to 11th spot. Meanwhile, pop singers Charles Hamilton and Rita Ora's "New York Raining" is on the top 30. The competition is stiff in the music business, but Neil Young managed to make it to the Official Album's Number 1 Spot with his 85% Proof, which also is his 4rth time to make it on that rank.
