Former Gossip Girl TV star Blake Lively is now officially a fashion designer. During her interview about two days ago, the actress turned fashion icon just told German magazine Jolie of her hopes and dreams of opening her own line of clothing and the possibility of really pursuing it in the future. But today, she is out with a dress costing $230, which she designed in collaboration with Amour Vert and Preserve.Us. It is one of the 12 other dresses that is part of a capsule collection of the brand and is currently out in the market for pre-order.
Alloy Entertainment had a word from Christoph Frehsee, co-founder and CEO of Amour Vert commending Lively on her style and skills when it comes to putting together the colors to a dress and even its entire construction. He said that she does have an eye for fashion and she is very keen with regards to the details. Linda Balti, who is also the co-founder and creative director of the company couldn't agree more that she announced the rest of Lively's work are about to come out in the next few weeks.
The dress made its debut on Instagram where she posted it saying, "I may not be able to draw worth a lick, but I am proud of this dress I co-designed with Amour Vert for @preserve_us." It is looking like she is passionate about her work that she wants the world to know how proud she is of them.
People.com said that the collection would be for an exclusive purchased via Preserve. As of the moment, only two styles are available for pre-order and the shipping starts on June 5. Tees will also be available under her name. The company she teamed up with is known for being eco-conscious that for every shirt that will be sold, a tree will be planted with the help of American Forests.
