Eva Green Hair: ‘Casino Royale’ Bond Girl Confesses Where ‘Penny Dreadful’ Confidence Comes From … Eva Green’s Hair!

Certainly one of the most beautiful women on television right now as her show "Penny Dreadful" continues its second season, the French actress who catapulted into fame by co-starring with Daniel Craig on "Casino Royale" exudes confidence - and it seems like this has a lot to do with Eva Green's hair!

Not long after a fellow Bond girl, Sophie Marceau, had a major wardrobe malfunction at the famed Cannes Film Festival, the first member of the new generation of girls who've shared the screen with agent 007 talks about the secret to the way she feels about herself these days, and it all lies in Eva Green's hair.

According to Belfast Telegraph, Eva Green's hair made a world of difference for the actress when she was in her teenage years, after dyeing her golden locks for the color she continues to sport today - so dark it's almost black.

The Sun Daily reports that Eva Green's hair is naturally quite blonde, but the "Penny Dreadful" star basically had an identity crisis when she was about 15 years old that allowed her to feel more comfortable in her own skin and more like herself.

"I wanted to change something. You know, like when you go through your teenage years," the actress said about Eva Green's hair, according to SKJ Bollywood News. "I hated school. I was a good student, but I just wanted to breathe in something new. I was in awe of a friend of my mum who had dark hair. She was quite weird, beautiful. I was like: 'Oh wow, I'll go to the hairdresser and try that.' So I went there, I dyed my hair blue-black and came back home."

Green isn't the only actress who's known for a hair color that isn't really her natural one - others who have done the same include Emma Stone, one of the world's most famous redheads, who is naturally as blonde as her character Gwen Stacy in "The Amazing Spider-Man" movies.

In any case, it's clear that Eva Green's hair and her whole style makes the star look incredible!
