George Clooney is on a worldwide tour promoting his new film Tomorrowland, but his better half Amal Clooney has been stealing the spotlight from him.
Amal unveiled a show-stopping, liquid gold John Galliano-designed Maison Margiela gown at the Tokyo premiere of Tomorrowland. The perfect fit of the gown flattered her slim physique.
The lavish, custom-made gold number featured a high neckline with an elegant flower detail. She paired it with a pair of barely visible, Manolo Blahnik gold heels.
The 37-year-old London-based Lebanese-British lawyer wore her long dark locks in simple loose, effortless waves. She pinned back the upper-half part to show off her flawless make-up.
Her face sported subtle eye makeup, well-defined brows and pink-colored lipstick.
She accessorized minimally, wearing only a pair of stud earrings and carrying a medium-sized Bulgari clutch.
When George was asked about his wife's fashion sense, he gushed, "She's stunning and has a great sense of style-there's no stylist or anything," he explained to E! News. "She just comes out like that and she shows up and she looks stunning."
Meanwhile, the 54-year-old movie icon was looking handsome in an all-black suit. Instead of a tie, however, the actor opted to leave his top button open to add a casual touch to his very formal look.
Clooney was joined by Director Brad Bird and co-stars Raffey Cassid, Britt Robertson, Mirai Shida to promote their film at Roppongi Hills. George plays a reclusive, disillusioned scientist named Frank Walker in Tomorrowland.
Amal did not make it to the UK premiere, but she took time out of her busy schedule to support her famous husband.
The power couple arrived in Tokyo on Sunday where they were seen in more dressed-down ensembles. Amal wore a colorful Missoni dress and wedge sandals and George wore jeans and a T-shirt promoting his own Casamigos tequila.
Mr. and Mrs. Clooney signed autographs and took selfies with fans at the airport.
