Back in 2010, the actress' performance in Darren Aronofsky's "Black Swan" gathered her a world of critical acclaim, even earning her the (only so far) Natalie Portman Oscar in 2011 - but now, four years later, the "V for Vendetta" star has confessed she's not too sure where she left her famous statuette.
Though perhaps most famous for having played Carrie Fisher's mother Padme Amidala in the second "Star Wars" trilogy, the 33 year-old has had a long career of critical acclaim since her days as a child actress in "Leon: The Professional," and a Natalie Portman Oscar to prove her chops.
Now, according to Perez Hilton, the actress gave a recent interview where she was asked about Natalie Portman's Oscar, and she said that not only had she not seen it for a while - she wasn't altogether too sure where it was located at all!
"I think it's in the safe or something. I don't know," she said when asked about Natalie Portman's Oscar, according to Time Magazine. "I haven't seen it in a while. I mean, mean, Darren actually said to me something when we were in that whole thing that resonated so deeply. I was reading the story of Abraham to my child and talking about, like, not worshipping false idols. And this is literally like gold men. This is literally worshipping gold idols-if you worship it. That's why it's not displayed on the wall. It's a false idol."
The talented actress, a strong believer in the Jewish faith who is raising her son, Aleph Portman-Millepied, in the faith, wasn't only asked about Natalie Portman's Oscar, but also her opinion about the current state of Israel and the reelection of Benjamin Netanyahu in the country of her birth.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Portman's views were clear on the matter, saying she was "very much against Netanyahu," finding him horrific.
In any case, it's refreshing to see that Natalie Portman's Oscar didn't go to her head years after receiving it!
