It's not the first time that a Katie Holmes bob makes headlines (she sported a similar cut between 2007 and 2008, according to inStyle Magazine), this marks a different trend when the hair scene is currently being swamped with unnatural colors like blue or different styles of pixies like the styles donned by Scarlett Johansson or Miley Cyrus.
However, Katie Holmes' bob has a catch to it: in fact, according to Us Weekly, the star didn't get a haircut ... just decided to wear a wig for the event!
In fact, Suri Cruise's mother took to Instagram to tease her fans before the event, showing pictures of the supposed process before the iconic fashion event - but later on it was revealed that she had been wearing a wig all along and nothing had happened to her long locks.
As E! Online reports, the idea behind Katie Holmes' bob was to show off one more elaborate headpiece for the China-themed event - though it would certainly suit her if she decided to go for that look once again!
