It's clear that, following the events that transpired in the 2012 film "Avengers," things changed completely in the universe the movies and series are based on, and things have continued to tie in between the films and the Joss Whedon show - and the "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" season 2 episode 19 is certainly no exception!

According to Hypable, the "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" season 2 episode 19, entitled "The Dirty Half-Dozen" due to the fact that it sees the original team reunited (that is: Clark Gregg's Coulson, Chloe Bennett's Skye, Ming-Na Wen's May, Brett Dalton's Ward, Iain De Caestecker's Fitz and Elizabeth Henstridge's Simmons), but with all of Coulson's secrets, Skye's new powers and Ward's history of betrayal and HYDRA, things won't be as simple for the group.

MStarz reports that the "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" season 2 episode 19 will see another interesting development: Coulson and Gonzales (Edward James Olmos), the leaders of the two fractions of SHIELD, putting aside their differences to fight for their common enemy, HYDRA, in a major blow that's set to change things forever for the terrorist organization born in Nazi Germany.

The very first scene of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" happens as the team of Avengers attacks a HYDRA base in the Arctic, and it seems they got the tip to the location from the "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" season 2 episode 1.

According to Yibada, in the episode, Coulson asks Gonzales to follow his mission, saying he's willing to open Nick Fury's (Samuel L. Jackson) toolbox to gain his trust, telling him that Baron von Strucker (Thomas Kretschmann) is currently experimenting with people with superpowers, most notably the Maximoff twins, two new additions to the "Avengers": Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson).
