Kanye West Glastonbury Fest: Do Fans Want ‘Yeezus’ Rapper OUT Of Festival?

Over the past few years, it seems like there's nobody as love him or hate him as Kim Kardashian's husband, as the talented rapper will often speak out of place or interrupt people at award shows - and now, things have gotten so bad that there might not be a performance of Kanye West at Glastonbury Fest.

The English festival is one of the biggest ones of the season, a five-day music event that features some of the biggest names in entertainment, and this year there was supposed to be a Kanye West Glastonbury Fest performance, but attendants have raised a campaign to keep this from happening.

According to CNN, the campaign to get Kanye West's Glastonbury Fest was started by one of the attendants of the festival, Neil Lonsdale, who set out to collect signatures to keep the singer from taking the stage during the music event, calling for organizers to replace the rapper for someone else.

Yahoo! News reports that Lonsdale's Kanye West Glastonbury Fest petition is currently on the website Change.org, saying that he's an "insult" to music fans all over the world and that he should respect the festival and give his headline slot to someone that's "deserving" of it.

According to Spin, the Kanye West Glastonbury Fest petition was first started as a joke, but it has since gained support of more than 75,000 fans, as they claim that, not only has he no business in attending a festival that's mostly focused on rock, but also that the rapper himself is an insult to music and doesn't "represent anything" with his persona or music.

In the past, West has gotten into trouble with the press and fans after interrupting Taylor Swift and Beck during award shows, most recently during the past Grammys - so far that even President Barack Obama once called the rapper "a jackass," prompting the same response from West in return.

It's uncertain whether the Kanye West Glastonbury Fest petition will truly get the rapper to get off the line-up.
