Ever since the recent post-Academy Awards Fashion Police show came out, controversy has surrounded one of the main people on the show, after Giuliana Rancic made a racially offensive comment about Zendaya's dreadlocks during the Oscars.
"I feel that she smells like patchouli oil ... or weed. Yeah, maybe weed," Rancic said following someone else suggesting that Zendaya smelled like marijuana. While the audience laughed at the time, Zendaya then took it to her Twitter to speak about how offensive the comments had been - with stars like "Scandal" actress Kerry Washington and Chloë Grace Moretz speaking out in support of the Disney Channel star.
Later on, Rancic herself went on E! News to issue an official apology, saying she was "sincerely sorry" for having crossed the line.
