Flash season 1 is returning with episode 14 this week and show fans will see the aftermath of Firestorm's explosion. Now that Ronnie and Dr. Stein have been separated, Barry and co. think that they are now safe. Unbeknownst to them, things will not go easy for the two when they are apart and this will lead them to question if they are supposed to be united once again or live separately from now on. It appears that CW's newest hit series has a lot of interesting things that are about to unfold. There is the mystery on who really killed Barry's mom. While previous episode hint that Dr. Wells could be the Reverse Flash and that he could be the one responsible for the death of Barry's mom, there is a new theory that Barry is actually the Reverse Flash from the future. If this were true, the perhaps Barry could be the killer of his own mother. The big question now is what led him to kill his own mom. This week, Barry learns from Dr. Stein that it is very possible for his alter-ego to time travel. Will he use this to unravel the truth that he's been seeking for all this time? Show executive producer Andrew Kreisberg gushed to TV Line about the upcoming episodes recently and according to him, "There's an unexpected, accidental time travel coming up and it is played both for hilarity and darkness. It happens in an episode [Episode 15] and we're really excited. It is the first Weather Wizard episode with Liam McIntyre." Apart from the time travel, Kreisberg also dished that the date between Barry and Caitlin was just an "inadvertent" one. He then added that Barry's budding romance with Linda Park will be the real thing for the superhero. "Our iteration of Linda, she's a spark plug. She's a firecracker. She's a lot of fun. She's ballsy and she speaks her mind. She's cool. Barry can't kind of believe that somebody like her is interested in him. Barry suddenly having somebody like that in his life will cause the other women in his life to maybe see a little green."
The official synopsis of Flash season 1 episode 14 reads: "After the nuclear explosion separates Ronnie and Dr. Stein, Barry and the team believe both men are safe. Caitlin is thrilled to have her fiancé back and prepares to resume their life together while Dr. Stein returns to his wife. However, when General Eiling targets Firestorm, Ronnie and Dr. Stein must decide if they are safer together or apart. Meanwhile, Mason Bridge tells Iris that there is something secretive going on at S.T.A.R. Labs and Dr. Stein gives Barry some important information about time travel."
