How To Make Bubble Tea At Home: Easy Green Boba Tea Recipe

Bubble Tea or Boba Tea originated in Taiwan in the 80s. Bubble tea is a cold drink, made with tapioca pearls. The pearls are heavy and sink to the bottom of the cup. Bubble tea is served with a large straw for slurping up the pearls. Most bubble teas are fruit or tea based.

Green Bubble Tea Recipe

2 servings

Ingredients
2 cup green tea
2 cup milk
1 cup tapioca pearls
4 tbsp honey
Ice cubes

Directions
1. Boil 2 cups of tapioca pearls in at least 10 cups of water, until squishy, constantly stirring.
2. Drain the pearls; cover them with 2 tbsp of honey; let sit for 20 minutes to soak up the honey in a fridge.
3. Pour 2 cups of green tea, 2 cups of milk, and as much honey as you want in a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Shake to mix well.
4. Pour the mix in the cups. Add the pearls. Serve with the straws.
