Breaking hearts all over the world for the first time since she played the love her and hate namesake character of "500 Days of Summer," the beautiful brunette has announced that Zooey Deschanel's pregnant and will be having her first child with boyfriend Jacob Pechenik later this year.
Rumors that saw Zooey Deschanel as pregnant had been going around for a while, it's only now that the "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" star has confirmed to People Magazine that she's expecting a baby - and the sweet news is, she'll be joining in with sister Emily Deschanel (the star of "Bones"), who announced her own pregnancy back in December: the children will have cousins just their same age to play with!
According to Us Weekly, before the news that Zooey Deschanel's pregnant was officially confirmed by the actress, the "Almost Famous" star made it a point to conceal her growing baby bump in public appearances, as she was conspicuously seen wider clothes like a big coat to hide her tummy.
But now that Deschanel has confirmed the news to all news outlets, the world is only left to see the kind of insanely gorgeous baby that can come out from the actress, as she's widely recognized as one of the most beautiful people in the entertainment business, besides being something of an indie queen after spending most of her career doing low-key independent films.
In any case, her boyfriend Jacob Pechenik is pretty handsome himself, with a big Zachary Quinto kind of look going on.
"Jacob and I are over the moon," said the actress to Time Magazine as she confirmed that Zooey Deschanel's pregnant. "We are so excited to meet our little one."
