With the new year also comes the news of upcoming games and features for different gaming platforms, particularly the Nintendo Direct date, where the big Japanese gaming company has announced what's coming for fans of the company that brought the world classic characters like Mario, Luigi, Bowser and Link.
As the first Nintendo Direct date has now officially happened, the geek world is excited for everything that's going to be going on in the Nintendo platforms these days, including a new version of the 3DS and new features for Wii U games that fans will find completely impossible to miss.
According to geek specialized website Kotaku, one of the biggest highlights in the latest Nintendo Direct date is major for those who own and love portable console 3DS, as well as classic Nintendo character Link: as the 3D re-release of classic "Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask" game approaches, the company has announced that there will be a beautiful new edition of the console, based on the Nintendo 64 classic game.
However, according to Inquisitr, that's not nearly the only great news regarding 3DS in the latest Nintendo Direct date: the Japanese company has also announced new games of "Fire Emblem," a May 2015 release of "Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Edition," yet another one of Pokemon fans entitled "Pokemon Shuffle," a new Internet bundle for "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate" and, in general, fans can see the new edition of the 3DS, which will be released on February 13 (along with "Majora's Mask," the big dish of the new edition), and North America will only be getting the XL version.
Other news, according to Wired, include the announcement that Wii U users can now download Wii games online from the Nintendo store, as well as getting new games like "Splatoon," a new Kirby game, the next edition of Mario Party and new characters for last year's game Hyrule Warriors, including Young Link and Tingle - but bad for the first Nintendo Direct date of the year!
