Kevin Spacey Speech: ‘House Of Cards’ Star Gets First Golden Globe Ever And Even Drops F-Bomb! [VIDEO]

For someone as widely successful in his career as Kevin Spacey, it's a surprise that the actor doesn't have a shelf completely full of Golden Globes at this point - however, as shown by Kevin Spacey's speech last Sunday, this might have been a turning point for the actor's career!

After having won two Academy Awards over his two most famous film roles back in the 1990s (as the impersonation of evil in "The Usual Suspects" and then as an annoyed suburban husband in the classic "American Beauty"), Kevin Spacey's speech revealed to many that, actually, he had never gotten a Golden Globe award!

Over the past Sunday Golden Globe Awards, many in the audience and watching the broadcast around the world were shocked to find out through Kevin Spacey's speech that he had never won the award given out by the Hollywood Foreign Press - but nobody seemed more shocked than Frank Underwood himself!

According to Metro, the shocking revelation for many while watching Kevin Spacey's speech was simply the fact that it was the first time he'd won the award, even with two Oscars to his name.

In the funny and charming speech, the actor famous for his wide variety of roles and his talent for impersonations even went so far as to drop a major curse word (the F-bomb, no less!) to show the world just how surprised he was over finally getting up on stage to the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

According to the International Business Times, Spacey cracked up the audience as he got up onstage and spoke as Frank Underwood, the South Carolina incredibly corrupt politician Netflix character that finally got him the coveted award. Spacey's very first words were that this was just "the beginning of my revenge."

"This is the eighth time I've been nominated," Spacey said afterwards, according to Us Weekly. "I can't f--king believe I won."
