On March 4, New Jersey Center for the Book and the Monmouth County Library present a food festival, Food for Thought: Food as Science, Food as Culture, Food as Career, Food as Community Service...What’s on Your Plate?
Keynote speakers will be American chef David Burke of David Burke Fromagerie in Rumson and Lynne Bugai of Jon Bon Jovi Soul Kitchen whose topic is "Hope is Delicious: Food as Community Service. A national award-winning chef Chloe Rosen stands as a speaker as well.
It will begin at 12:30 - 4:30 pm, Monmouth County Library Headquarters, followed by food festival including Trader Joe's, Sickles Market, Wegmans, Monmouth County Historical Association, Master Gardeners of Monmouth County, 4-H of Monmouth County, Rook Coffee Roasters, Cupcakes of Little Silver, Katie Strakosch on Gluten Free Diets, CentraState, Herbertsville Honey Company, Rutgers Department of Nutrition Sciences on healthy eating for preschool children.
