Slender Man Case - The "Slender Man Case," which involves two girls who stabbed a third girl, was updated as on Thu. the suspects were found to be competent to stand trial as adults.

The shocking event that involved the three girls took place on May. It happened in Waukesha, a city of 71,000 which stands 15 miles west of Milwaukee.

According to The Guardian, Morgan Geiser and Anissa Weier had plotted for months to kill their classmate Payton Leutner. The three of them were at a sleepover and the two girls lured Leutner to a wooded park and stabbed her 19 times.

Then, Geiser and Weier left. Leutner crawled through the woods and a bicyclist found her and called 911. The two girls, who were later charged, were found walking to a national forest where they believed the Slender Man had a mansion.

The Slender Man began as an internet meme and later on took part in urban legends and various stories, where "he" is a faceless man wearing a black suit, and who abducts, stalks and traumatizes people, especially children.

These girls stabbed Leutner in order to "impress" and "please" the fictional character of Slender Man. One of the girls seemingly told the police that Slender Man is the leader of Creepypasta site and in order to "climb" to his realm, one must kill someone, CNN reported.
