The beautiful and talented Italian actress from "Matrix: Reloaded" is one of the newest additions to the Bond 24 movie, "Spectre": Monica Bellucci's Bond girl appearance will make her the oldest lady to have shared a screen with 007!
After months of speculation, the details about the next Bond movie have finally been released. And while many are excited about what the new title might represent for the upcoming film, as with every other Bond film before it, what the entire Internet is talking about is the beautiful ladies that will share a screen with Mr. Bond, like Monica Bellucci's Bond girl appearance as well as Léa Seydoux's!
Up until the casting of Monica Bellucci as Bond girl, the oldest actress to have been with 007 was Honor Blackman, who played the infamous Pussy Galore in the 1964 classic "Goldfinger", as The Daily Mail reports. At the time she was in the movie, Blackman was 39 years old; Bellucci is currently 50.
According to Yahoo News, the story of Monica Bellucci's Bond girl appearance was hardly news, as it had already been rumored for the past few weeks. Due to her age, it would seem that the Italian actress is an odd choice for the role; however, Bellucci has been considered one of the sexiest actresses on the world for years, well beyond her age.
According to BBC, Monica Bellucci's Bond girl character will be called Lucia Sciarra, while her fellow Bond girl, French Léa Seydoux (famous for having starred in last year's "Blue is the Warmest Color" as well as having a minor role in Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris") will be playing a character named Madeleine Swann.
As previously reported, the "Spectre" cast will feature the return of Daniel Craig as agent 007, Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny and Ben Whishaw as Q. Newer additions to the cast will include Oscar-winning actor Christoph Waltz and "Sherlock" baddie Andrew Scott as Bond villains, "Guardians of the Galaxy" star Dave Batista and the two beautiful Bond girls.
