The December 2015 release of the follow-up story in a galaxy far, far away is approaching, and now fans of classic characters like the Skywalker twins, Han Solo and Chewbacca have something to wait with for the upcoming months: the "Star Wars Episode 7" teaser trailer!
It's been a long wait since the first news of the "Star Wars" sequel came out, but even more since the last time the story was updated: seeing as the last three movies were prequels, technically the follow-up of the story hasn't seen an update since 1983's "Return of the Jedi" - which is why the "Star Wars Episode 7" teaser is such a big deal for fans around the world!
As reported by The Week, the new "Star Wars Episode 7" teaser is only 90 seconds long, and, as every other teaser, only leaves fans expecting more - but they're only too happy to see how the movie they've been waiting for since the early 80s is coming along!
Unsurprisingly due to the huge deal the movie is and the expectancy surrounding it, the "Star Wars Episode 7" teaser features less about the main characters than one would hope - but besides the desert Tatooine-looking place the trailer begins at, and the Stormtroopers all over, there's still one huge deal, as Metro reports: Han Solo's famous spacecraft, the Millennium Falcon, can be seen flying in the air once again.
The new "Star Wars" movie, officially named "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens," will be released in December 2015 and features an all-star cast that includes the three classic protagonists: Mark Hammill as Luke Skywalker, Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia and the ever-iconic Harrison Ford as Han Solo, the coolest man in a few galaxies.
Other members of the star-filled cast are Andy Serkis (the man behind the voice and mannerisms of JRR Tolkien's Gollum), Gwendoline Christie (from "Game of Thrones"), Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o, Adam Driver (the indie star from "Girls"), Max von Sydow (famous for his roles in many Ingmar Bergman films, such as that of the knight in "The Seventh Seal") and Warwick Davis (who played an Ewok in "The Return of the Jedi" and later would go on to play Professor Flitwick in the "Harry Potter" saga).
