Carrots
Carrots are the most popular eye foods out there. Although carrots can't improve your vision, studies have shown that they can protect your sight from going bad.

Beta-carotene is a type of vitamin A found in carrots. They are shown to help the retina and the rest of the eye to work smoothly. A great feature of carrots is its portable size and multifunctional attributes. Carrots can be incorporated into almost any meal or even eaten as a snack.

Fish
Fishes like salmon, sardines and tuna are packed full with omega-3 fatty acids. Omega -3 acids are good in protecting the small vessels in the eyes. This aids in protecting you from dry eyes and cataracts. If you are not such a great fan of seafood then you can get a good supply of omega-3 by taking a number of fish oil supplements or supplements that contain black currant seed oil or flaxseed oil.
