Porn actress Stoya accused fellow porn star and former real-world lover James Deen of raping her, in two damning tweets that have already taken a hit on Deen’s reputation.
After a few days of Twitter silence, Stoya made the shocking accusation. She tweeted: “That thing where you log in to the internet for a second and see people idolizing the guy who raped you as a feminist. That thing sucks.”
Stoya claims that the 29-year-old porn actor, who starred in Farrah Abraham’s sex tape, allegedly held her down and raped her after she said no.
“James Deen held me down and f***ed me while I said no, stop, used my safeword,” she added. “I just can’t nod and smile when people bring him up anymore.”
Stoya gave no other details about the alleged rape and indicated she’d give no further comment, writing that she will be “mostly offline till 17 Dec. For work.”
Stoya has not tweeted since. However, another one of James’ ex-girlfriends, Joanna Angel, showed her support for Stoya on Twitter. James has not commented on the accusation at all.
James, whose real name is Bryan Matthew Sevilla, dated Joanna from 2004 to 2010. Stoya revealed that she was dating James in 2013. It’s not clear when they broke up.
After Stoya’s tweets, the editor of the women's lifestyle website The Frisky swiftly announced the end of Deen’s advice column there.
“Like so many rape cases, this will very likely be a ‘he said/she said’ situation,” Amelia McDonell-Parry wrote on the site.
James has been well known in the porn industry for years. He also starred alongside Lindsay Lohan in the 2013 drama The Canyons. He gained even more media attention when he starred in a sex tape with Teen Mom star Farrah.
In a 2013 interview after the sex tape was released, Farrah claimed that James had an “anger issue” and, she would “never do it with him again.”
