War For The Planet Of The Apes Now On Production (Official Release Date and Cast)

The sequel for the critically acclaimed movie Planet of the Apes is confirmed to be released and its production is already ongoing. The title of this next installment is called "War for the Planet of the Apes" and director Matt Reeves has announced that they are already shooting for this project as per Latinos Post's report.

Fans of the movie have been waiting for this announcement for years and they would be thrilled to know that it is finally happening. The director was ecstatic to make the announcement to those who have been wondering about the movie's status and he even posted pictures of the project as they were filming on the set. He was generous enough to share their progress on his Twitter with a hashtag that says #ithasbegun.

For the cast, Gabriel Chavarria (from East Los High) and Woody Harrelson (from Zombieland) are part of the movie and they are playing the roles of humans pumped up for the war.

Caesar's character would still be on it and it will still be Andy Serkis who will be playing the role along with Steve Zahn. If you know the movie Diary Of a Wimpy Kid, then you are definitely with Zahn since he played the role of the Dad on the movie.

As for the plot, no one knows about it just yet, but Serkis somewhat gave a clue on what the viewers can expect this time. He said that evolution of the apes plays a huge role this time and there are a lot of time jumps as well, that are too crazy to watch. The actor also praised the work of Reeves and he feels like it has been so good so far that he can already foresee some sequels after it. The director on the other hand, kept mum about the possible sequels.

The official release date of War For the Planet of the Apes is on July 14, 2017.
