Alicia Silverstone will try her luck on the small screen again.
The "Clueless" actress has reportedly signed on to play the lead role in a new Lifetime drama, "HR."
According to the United International Press, Silverstone will portray "uptight human resource boss, Ellen Bell, who is determined to overhaul her company" in the new series. Silverstone's character undergoes a life-changing experience after suffering a head injury.
"Ellen's newly liberated managerial style and untraditional female point of view in a predominately male company is a welcome relief to some, while others see it as a threat to their power and position within the corporate structure, testing the workplace relationship inside out of this seemingly traditional office," Lifetime said in a statement.
The series will be directed by "Sex and the City" show runner Darren Star. His other shows included "Beverly Hills 90210" and "Melrose Place." Star won a PGA and Emmy for "Sex in the City."
The "Batman and Robin," star is know mainly known for her work on the big screen and has not had much luck on the small.
The 36-year-old actress was previously involved in two show pilots "Queen B" and Pink Collar", Neither were turned into a series, The Toronto Sun reported the actress's 2003 TV program "Miss March" was cancelled after 11 episodes.
This is not the only project for the mother of one. Earlier this year, The Inquisitor, reported that the actress launched a breast milk sharing service to help vegan mothers, after one woman reached out for help through an email.
"A lot of women unfortunately have a similar struggle, and there's no reason why they shouldn't be able to give their babies the most amazing start in life with clean, mean, glorious breast milk," she said in an official statement.
There are no reports on when the show is expected to premiere on the cable network.
