'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Animated Series Gets Its Own 'Awesome Mix' Featuring Queen, Gloria Gaynor And Thin Lizzy! [VIDEO]

If there was one thing that gave 'Guardians of the Galaxy' a wonderfully nostalgic charm, it would be the film's soundtrack filled with pop songs from the 60's and 70's. The soundtrack was so addictive that 'Awesome Mix Vol. 1' actually went on to reach the number one spot of the Billboard 200 in August last year.

Although it may still be a long wait before the world gets to hear 'Awesome Mix Vol. 2,' a new 'Guardians of the Galaxy' soundtrack has just been released, and this time, it's for the animated series. 'Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy' will cover the events that happened after the movie, and since this means more adventures, the 'Cosmic Mix' has been created.

The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' animated series soundtrack will not stray too far from 'Awesome Mix Vol. 1,' since it already features the Blue Swede hit 'Hooked on a Feeling.' However, the rest of the songs in 'Cosmic Mix' are hits that would feel right at home in a 'Guardians of the Galaxy' soundtrack.

Here is the complete list of songs featured in 'Cosmic Mix.'

1. "Hooked On a Feeling" - Blue Swede

2. "Funk No. 49" - The James Gang

3. "Drift Away" - Dobie Gray

4. "Walk Away" - The James Gang

5. "Boys Are Back in Town" - Thin Lizzy

6. "Shake Your Groove Thing" - Peaches and Herb

7. "Funk Funk" - Cameo

8. "Joy to the World" - Three Dog Night

9. "I Will Survive" - Gloria Gaynor

10. "Rocky Mountain Way" - Joe Walsh

11. "So You Are a Star" - Hudson Brothers

12. "Don't Stop Me Now" - Queen

'Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy' will feature the voice talents of Will Friedle as Star-Lord, Vanessa Marshall as Gamora, David Sobolov as Drax the Destroyer, Trevor Devall as Rocket Raccoon and Kevin Michael Richardson as Groot. James Arnold Taylor will provide the voice of the blue Ravager Yondu.

Catch 'Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy' on Disney XD starting September 26, 2015.
