Texas Police: "the largest discovery of marijuana found"

Who would have thought that Bigfoot is to be blamed by Texas Police's inability to track down illegal pot farmers? News emerged that Texas Police as able to get a lead that illegal pot farmers are growing marijuana in the hidden depths of the forest.

As per High Times, a crew involving several members of the Delta Country Sheriff's Office, game wardens and officers with the department of Public Safety responded to a tip they received from a group of local hog wranglers. It is when they stated that a "substantial marijuana field" was being maintained deep inside the Wildlife Management Area just an hour away from Dallas, Texas.

The team then invaded the area together with their drug sniffing hounds and aerial support, the drug busting team stormed through the forest. They were in awe as they came across an acre plot with around 6,550 mature cannabis plants growing, some of which are reached 10 feet tall.

Sheriff Ricky Smith of Delta County then told the reporters that the crop is estimated to have a value of $6 million. He then added that it was "the largest discovery of marijuana found" in his whole carrier. The group of investigators believe that the suspects are of American decent, not a wild gang of Mexicans send across the border by a drug cartel.

Smith then added "we were told the suspects spoke English and communicated well."

Though Texas Police claimed that they were already on their way in finding the pot growing perpetrators, their mission was however disrupted when they encountered a group of Bigfoot hunters scouring the woods with the hopes of getting a few photos of the beastly folk legend known as Sasquatch.

As per NPR, the illegal cultivation has been around since May 2015. The pot farmers are fully equipped; their campsite is complete with generators, watering systems and camouflaging materials. It's such a waste that an acre of good weed is currently in the process of being eliminated by the probationary orders of the state of Texas.

As per NORML, the pot farmers can be locked up in the Lone Star State for around 99 years on the possession of charges alone.
