TIFF 2015: [WATCH] Tom Hardy Shut Down Reporter Asking About His Sexuality! [VIDEO]

'Legend' star Tom Hardy is one actor who has always had a lot of fun with the roles he portray. Although he is known for his tough roles in 'Bronson' and 'Mad Max: Fury Road,' the 34-year-old English actor has also portrayed sexually ambiguous characters like Handsome Rob in 'RocknRolla' and real-life gangster Ronald Kray in 'Legend.'

The more recent role has once again unearthed Tom Hardy's 2008 interview with Attitude magazine, where he spoke about having sexual relations with other men. And although the interview may have been taken out of context or just a result of Tom Hardy joking around with the interviewer, it was once again brought up by a reporter during the 'Legend' press conference at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival.

According to Gawker, Daily Xtra's Graeme Coleman decided to ask Tom Hardy a loaded question.

"In the film, your character Ronnie is very open about his sexuality," Coleman began. "But given interviews you've done in the past, your own sexuality seems a bit more ambiguous. Do you find it hard for celebrities to talk to media about their sexuality?"

Tom Hardy wasn't impressed. "What on earth are you on about?" he asked Coleman.

"I was referring to an interview given to 'Attitude' magazine a few years ago," Coleman explained, to which Hardy responded, "But what is your question?"

"I was wondering if you find it difficult for celebrities to talk about their sexuality," Coleman said.

"I don't find it difficult for celebrities to talk about their sexuality," Hardy said before asking, "Are you asking me about my sexuality?"

At this point, Graeme Coleman sounded nervous as he said, "Um, sure."

Tom Hardy wasn't going to make this easy for the reporter. "Why?" he asked, and before Coleman could respond, quickly said, "Thank you."

(The incident begins at the 28:12 mark)

In the Attitude magazine interview, Tom Hardy had stated that he had sexual relations with men, although he is quick to add, "I'm an actor, for f--k's sake. I'm an artist. I've played with everything and everyone. But I'm not into men sexually. I love the form and the physicality but the gay sex bit does nothing for me."

'Legend' will hit theaters on October 2.
