A Mother Lost Over 200 Lbs Wants To Bring Her Life Back, Asking For A £13,000 Raise

A single mother, who has confessed to being a "food addict"  lost her home, job and possessions because her excessive weight incapacitated her to go about the activities of daily living.

She related how her difficult childhood made her turn to food as a way of coping. Her excessive food intake resulted to a condition called lumbar spinal stenosis. The compressed vein caused her a lot of pain and forced her to cut down on her working hours until she finally found herself out of work.

Bobby Scott, 48 years old was working for a catering firm then. When she lost her job, she was unable to pay her rent and eventually found herself and her child evicted from her apartment. She claims that her meager possessions that was stacked in two carts were taken from her as well leaving her with almost nothing.

She was forced to live in a shelter but eventually found herself a new home with the help of a friend. She lso found a doctor who helped her loose 200 lbs. as she originally weighed 500 lbs.

Scott remained in the shelter for 18 months, and it was during that time that she gained an additional  weight, that left her hyperventilating whenever she stands. She also related how she had to remain in a sitting position while she slept in order to breathe.

However, her staggering weight loss left her with a "sagging skin" that is causing her discomfort when she's out in public for fear of being ridiculed.

Scott would like to regain her life back. She wants to have a normal life again. But she will be needing £13,000 to pay for the surgery, which her insurance refused to pay. In her recent post to GoFundMe, she is knocking at the hearts of kind hearted people to help her raise the money for the procedure.

She's now asking for help to have the  procedure done, she wrote, "I just want to feel pretty again without having to wear long sleeves to hide my battle scars. Im just hoping for a little help because its a procedure I can't afford."
