Two Chefs Have Knife Fight Over Chicken, Victim Cut On Head

South East Suffolk, England - Chinese chefs started a knife fight over the question of how they would cut up a chicken breast. The altercation resulted in a manhunt, and the victim was left with a 5-centimeter cut on his head and burns.

Daily Mail identified the restaurant as "Fontana Chinese." One of the chefs, Xian Chen, 35, will be locked up for 12 weeks for his role in the incident.

The fight took place on Saturday, December 29. Apparently both chefs fell on a hot stove during their struggle, resulting in burns.

Restaurant kitchens are high-stress and fast-paced workplaces, but this kind of behavior is both childish and dangerous. With hot stoves and ovens, knives and other dangerous tools around the kitchen, chefs should have more self-control.

Hopefully the chefs have learned their lesson, and will learn to resolve their differences in a more civilized manner.
