Carrie Underwood Net Worth: Singer Announces New Single and Album [PHOTO + VIDEO]

Carrie Underwood revealed that she has new music on the way. And to better connect with her fans after an incredibly busy year, the singer also opened up in a Q&A session on Facebook to answer some burning questions.

The 32-year-old's new country single is called 'Smoke Break,' and it’s a song her fans will line up to support. Those who thought the superstar was too polished to write and record a blue collar anthem are proven wrong on this first single from the upcoming 'Storyteller' album.

She wrote 'Smoke Break' with Hillary Lindsey and Chris DeStefano. The track was produced by Jay Joyce, known for his work with Eric Church, Little Big Town and Cage the Elephant. Mark Bright and Zach Crowell also produced tracks for 'Storyteller.'

Carrie sings of needing a break from life’s grind, something she’s no doubt experiencing in new ways since having a baby in February. The first verse is dedicated to moms, especially those doing it on their own.

“I want to tell you guys that I have new music!” she gushed in the video. “I have a new song and it’s called “Smoke Break” and I’m so excited for you guys to hear it."

She continued: "The song itself is just one of those story songs that I just kind of felt everybody could relate to about how life is so hectic and it’s so nice when, if and when, you actually get to step away for a second and we all need that."

Carrie’s last album of completely new songs was back in 2012, when she released Blown Away. She put out a Greatest Hits record at the end of 2014, which included two new songs, “Something in the Water” and “Little Toy Guns,” both of which climbed up the country charts to Nos. 1 and 6, respectively.

Carrie Underwood is an American country music singer/songwriter and occasional actress who has a net worth of $70 million according to Celebrity Net Worth.

I’m so excited to finally share this news with you!
