South Korean pop star Psy has been under the radar quite recently. Famous for his single, "Gangnam Style," Psy is making headlines for a completely different reason this time around.
In East China, Psy crashed his red Rolls Royce into a bus in a city called Hangzhou, found near Shanghai. Not only that, but the "Right Now" singer even opted not to file a police report and didn't even contact his insurance company.
Instead, Psy had himself picked up in his Porsche just a few moments after the incident occurred - which is an insane reflection of his wealth and status.
The Porsche that fetched Psy was reportedly "clearing the way in front of the Rolls Royce," probably part of a convoy.
It has yet to be known if Psy was the one driving the Rolls Royce at the time of the accident. But reports claim that the Rolls Royce was making a right turn at an intersection between Yan'an road and Qingchun road when the wreckage happened.
Fox News reports that no one was injured from the fender bender on Thursday, as per People's Daily Online, a Chinese newspaper. However, Psy is definitely not out of the woods yet.
Damages incurred on the bus are reportedly worth 2,000 RMB and will cost around $300 USD to repair, while the Rolls Royce will definitely cost a lot more.
The Shanghaiist reports that the luxury Rolls Royce incurred 700,000 RMB in damages - since the bumper also fell off the car -- which is around $112,000 USD.
Both parties involved in the accident have already agreed upon negotiations and the compensation for damage.
People's Daily Online also claims that Psy was coming from the airport and on the way to his hotel when the he wrecked the Rolls Royce against the bus. Psy was in Hangzhou to attend "an opening party of a new bar."
