Katy Perry recently revealed that she's starring in the new Moschino campaign for its fall/winter 2015 collection. But Perry is showing that she's slowly ruling the world - as she just landed the H&M Holiday campaign.
In one of the ad campaign shots, Katy ditches her typical colorful and eccentric style. Instead, she's sporting a bright red bow at the front of her topknot, as she pulls up a black and white turtleneck sweater to cover the lower half of her face.
The 2015 holiday campaign called "Happy & Merry," puts the upcoming season in perspective even though it's only July.
Katy Perry even shared the news on her Instagram on Thursday. "Ladies, Gentlemen & unlabeled - let's take a petite pause on the beauteous summer we are experiencing & open our calendars tooooo... THE HOLIDAYS," she wrote in the caption.
It continued, "I am excited to announce that I will be starring in @hm's #HappyandMerry Holiday Campaign launching later this year!!! Stay tuned for the whole unwrapping!"
Perry tells Women's Wear Daily: "H&M was one of the places where I first began cultivating my personal style. I have continued to love integrating H&M pieces into my wardrobe throughout the years."
Katy also added in Thursday's press release, "One of the reasons I love the holidays is being able to dress cozy and cute, which H&M executes so well for every budget."
Katy Perry is following in the footsteps of Beyonce, Lana del Rey, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett (they both fronted last year's holiday campaign) who have all fronted H&M for its campaigns.
However, this isn't Katy Perry's first stint with H&M. Back in 2009, the "Last Friday Night" singer collaborated with the Swedish's brands Fashion against AIDS collection.
