After playing in a number of venues and landing the most highly coveted gig in the music business, the Super Bowl halftime show, there's little surprise in seeing Katy Perry's Forbes cover as the next issue of the famous magazine, as she's currently the top-earning musician in the world.
The reason Katy Perry's Forbes cover for their next issue is simple: as the magazine launches its annual Celebrity 100 list, the beautiful 30 year-old takes the third spot in the highest-paid celebrity in the world, following only the protagonists of the Fight of the Century last spring, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.
According to Gossip Pop, Katy Perry's Forbes cover was a great excuse to hear the incredibly successful "Firework" singer speaking about what it's been like working for herself in the past few years, as she explained she's more than proud of taking her own career in her hands.
"I am proud of my position as a boss, as a person that runs my own company," she tells the magazine. "I'm an entrepreneur... I don't want to shy away from it. I actually want to kind of grab it by its b****," said Katy Perry to Forbes during the interview.
Katy Perry's Forbes interview and photo shoot happened in the Italian capital, Rome, as the interviewer accompanied her while she toured the City of the Seven Hills, as she discussed her $136 million earnings from June 2014 to June 2015, as she was making approximately $2 million per concert during 124 shows in 27 countries and four different continents.
While Perry was the one gracing the cover, E! Online reports that others in Forbes' top 10 highest earners were British boy band One Direction, celebrity radio host Howard Stern, country star Garth Brooks, James Patterson, "Avengers: Age of Ultron" star Robert Downey Jr., Perry's so-called arch nemesis Taylor Swift and Real Madrid soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo.
Don't miss the lovely Katy Perry Forbes cover and shoot!
