Taylor Swift Super Bowl: ‘Bad Blood’ Continues With Katy Perry, As Frenemy’s Considered For Super Bowl Halftime Show

Earlier this year, minutes before the New England Patriots became the champions of the Super Bowl for the fourth time in their history, Katy Perry made history by boosting the already high ratings of the event by singing in the halftime show, but now it seems like her worst nightmare's about to come true as Taylor Swift's Super Bowl performance might be approaching.

Less than a year after Perry's iconic performance (which gave the world the "Left Shark" meme), rumor has it the National Football League (NFL) wants to follow up with Taylor Swift's Super Bowl halftime show, and it's reportedly between the "1989" singer and the Princess of Pop, Britney Spears.

According to Radar Online, the Taylor Swift Super Bowl performance is almost official, as the singer is supposedly "working out the final details" before making it public, as the NFL has already made the offer and the ball's entirely on Swift's court.

Of course, rumors that Taylor Swift's Super Bowl performance is happening have already made the world anxious over a possible Perry reaction, as the two pop stars have famously fallen out and it's said that Swift's latest hit, "Bad Blood," is about her relationship with the "Dark Horse" singer.

However, Access Hollywood reports that Taylor Swift's Super Bowl performance is just a baseless rumor, and that in reality it's "not happening," but the real reason has nothing to do with Perry: in fact, Swift has a long-term contract with Coca-Cola and the Super Bowl halftime show is famously sponsored by Pepsi, marking a serious conflict of interests.

According to Hollywood Life, besides rumors that it'll be Swift's stage in 2016, it's being said that, 15 years after the 2001 halftime show alongside the likes of NSYNC and Aerosmith, Britney Spears might be coming back for the major gig as the Super Bowl turns 50 years of age.

Will it be Taylor Swift's Super Bowl or Britney's? It seems like there won't be an official announcement for a few more months!
