The 'Hollaback' girl Gwen Stefani is back on the 9th season of The Voice, which premieres this fall.
US Weekly reports Stefani will once again take the revolving seat in the newest season, joining fellow judges, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams.
The No Doubt singer first appeared as a voice coach in the reality show's 7th season, which paved the way for a new single she collaborated with her seatmate, Pharrell. The then-newbie judges performed their single "Spark the Fire" on stage.
Stefani also did a collaboration with another voice coach, the reality show's pioneer, Adam Levine. They performed "My Heart is Open" together at the Grammy Awards this year.
NBC confirmed Christina Aguilera will take a break after her season 8 appearances that concluded May 19.
Returning host Carson Daly told US Weekly about having musicians coming in and out of the show saying, "These guys tour. They're not TV people - they're musicians first. We knew that they have to tour around the world and so, unlike other shows, we've always known that we're going to have the revolving chairs. When we can get Usher and Gwen in the mix with these guys, it's been great."
During the earlier seasons, The Voice's first female judge was replaced by fellow Latin Grammy winner, Shakira.
"We always felt like we had A-list artists who need to tour. We actually liked fresh blood; we thought it changed up each season. We're on twice a year too, so it just changes things up a little bit, and look at what we've gotten! Ceelo Green is awesome, then we got Usher, now Pharrell," The Voice's host added.
Gwen is not totally replacing Christina, though. US Weekly added a source told the magazine that Christina's hiatus will allow her to spend time with her kids and family, and has already signed a contract with NBC for her season 10 comeback.
