'Fuller House' to Push Through Without The Olsen Twins

The Olsen twins Mary-Kate and Ashley confirmed that they will not be part of Fuller House, the Netflix spin-off of the ABC comedy sitcom 'Full House'.

The rumors were finally laid to rest Friday, with the twins not joining the remake so they can focus more on their fashion careers and business ventures.

Not too long after the news broke out, the show's Executive producer Robert L. Boyett finally spoke about Olsen's decision of leaving the show.

"Although Ashley and Mary-Kate will not be part of the 'Fuller House', I know how much 'Full House' has meant to them, and they are still very much considered family. It has been exciting to see how they have built their professional careers, and I support their choice to focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavors. I appreciate their support and good wishes toward 'Fuller House'," Boyett stated.

They shared the role of Michelle Tanner from 1992 to 1995 and were introduced during the '90s show's crossover epsode with 'Hangin with Mr. Cooper'.

Despite this announcement, 'Fuller House' production is still underway, with majority of the old actors returning and reprising their roles. Dave Coulier, Candance Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber and John Stamos have all signed on.

Stamos, who plays the role of Jesse Katsopolis or popuarly known as 'Uncle Jesse', was saddened after hearing the news about the twins not coming back to the show.

The 51-year old actor assured fans that there will be 'no disappointments' on the 'Fuller House' episodes, in a tweet posted on his official account on Saturday.

According to previous reports from ABC News, the show will be a reunion for the Tanner family and will follow the story of recently widowed and pregnant D.J., played by Bure who needs help in taking care of her children. She will be helped by her sister Stephanie Tanner and best friend Kimmy Gibbler.

There's no official release date for 'Fuller House' and or how will the show deal with the absence of the Olsen twins. However, a few reports have suggested that their sister, Avengers: Age of Ultron star, Elizabeth Olsen could fill in for the role.
